Weekend in Indy!

This past weekend...i realized i am very much a CITY girl! There was fmily weekend at Indiana State University for my nephew. My sister, mother, daughter and i went to see my nephew Rickie away at school and spend the weekend with him. If anyone knows where Terre Haute, IN is...my oh my...you know it is NOT CHICAGO! Needless i stuck out like a sore thumb! Check out the pics...

In the Pouring Rain...

This past Sunday was full of showers and misting throughout the entire day. Of course it was the day the hubby and i along with some friends decide to go to the BMW golf outing... I am sure you guys have figured out i am not one for the cold..nor the rain...When not out on the course we spent the remainder of the day chit chatting the VIP tent...very dry!

I trust everyone had a wonderful weekend...while also hopefully giving a moment of silence fro the 9/11 victims yesterday. We had a packed weekend here. My daughter had her Homecoming game and dance ..along with a cross country meet to run in...followed by Brunch with friends on Sunday and hitting the farmer's market. So here is my Sunday brunch outfit...let me know your thoughts...

Top Shop Opens in Chicago!

So yesterday Top Shop opened up....and boy oh boy was it busy. Everyone and their mother was in the store. It was a little to busy for my liking. But of course you know i had to venture inside...as i looked around and took it all in, i found that i was slightly overwhelmed....so i will have to wait for things to die down ...just a little. With all of the newness of top shop... i decided to go a little vintage. Let  me know what you think...

Wacky Wednesday

Ok...i haven't told you guys but , i have decided to become Vegan...well as Vegan as i can. I have been a vegetarian for most of my life and i eat fish and eggs only for the protein and to make it much easier when out to dinner with others. So...anywho...i decided last week was the week to start. It hasn't been too hard but my husband worries with my workout routine that i will not get enough protein. We shall see...

Labor Day weekend...

Please tell me it is not over sooooo soon! All i want is one more day...lies...i say lies. I want a week or two....lol! It was a relaxing weekend i must say. Spent sat with one of my BFF's and Alex..which is always a good time. There is ALWAYS tons of laughing to be had...Hope everyone had a great weekend..now remember...it's a short week...Yay!!!

Sept 1 and who would have guessed it would be in the 90's today??? Well in Chicago it was... I love the hot weather and an dreading the impending winter months! Don't get me wrong...i love Fall fashion and the temps...but i know what comes after it...Old man winter...ugh! Well let's keep it sunny and warm for the time being...it's going to be another HOT one tomorrow..and hello weekend!!!
