After picking up tickets to the Oprah Show Surprise Spectacular {yes we got them!} we hit the French Market for a bite to eat, some girl chat and a few photos.

We had a great time till I was scolded by the security guard - not once, but TWICE for taking photos.  I even went and spoke to a management guy who said it was OK.  The third time he came by he said something like "Oh and by the way I understand why you would want to take photos of your friend, she's beautiful." and walked off with a big 'ol grin.  Ahhh Chicago!

Taxing Tuesday

Finally a wonderful day outside with warm weather. What a nice way to end a month of audits and reviews. Here is a picture of one of my favorite comfortable dress, that is easy to wear and through on at any given time.

Happy Mother's Day

Being a mother is a precious gift. Being able to see your offspring blossom and bloom is delightful. For me, being a mother is a beautiful thing!

Beautiful Spring Day

Today was a day filled with meetings and tying up many loose ends from a busy 4 weeks. I finally found some use for this beautiful Hermes scarf ...that i have been dying to wear. let me know what you think...

Ok, so i am in LIMBO...fashion limbo that is. Should i dress for Spring...or dress for Summer? The weather here is not giving me clear cut answers..so i am dressing for both!

Well in it doesn't feel like May at all! I think i even saw a snowflake....nope just kidding. It was some sprinkles of rain. But the gloom and the doom of this weather is just not good...not good at all. So my outfit for today was built around warmth...and i dare not go outside for photos...oh my!!!

An Early Mother's Day

Surprised my mother and sister with a day at the Peninsula and lovely presents. Let's just say there was laughter and joy and even tears. But it was all good. It was nice to see the love and joy on their face.
